Ethics of the Mystery Shopper

I will respect the confidentiality of the projects I collaborate on, acting with caution and discretion. Under no circumstances will I reveal my identity as a Mystery Shopper, regardless of the situation.

I will pay close attention and follow the instructions given by Shop’n Chek for each assignment (schedules, deadlines, exact location, activities to perform).

I will never take the questionnaires with me to the audit location; instead, I will allocate time afterward to complete them in a location not near the assigned site.

During my audit, I will evaluate fairly and impartially, describing the facts that occurred while I conducted the audit. I will not take into account past experiences, those of others, nor will I make subjective references.

I will not delegate my responsibilities to third parties. I alone will be responsible for the assignments I accept and will be accountable for them.

I will submit audit reports on time and accept that they may be invalidated if I do not strictly adhere to each program’s specifications.

I will be very careful not to lose, damage, stain, or wrinkle the purchase ticket, proof of visit, or collected material, as this is the only way for Shop’n Chek to verify that I conducted the audit on time and according to standards.

If, for any reason, I cannot perform an assigned audit, I will notify Shop’n Chek with at least 48 hours’ notice so it can be reassigned to another Shopper and not affect commitments to the Client.

For any questions, I will always ask and will not make decisions without consulting Shop’n Chek.

I will report my completed audits within a maximum of 48 hours through the channels provided by Shop’n Chek.
